When I first saw the in-game shots/videos of Project Gotham, said I gotta have an XBox.
Plus they had Halo, Dead or Alive, Splinter Cell, Colin McRae Rallye.
A few games that were sublime I think that should have been mentioned - Panzer Dragoon Orta, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kung Fu Chaos.
The real taste test concerning a more improved driving physics I think was when they gave us the Nissan 370Z GT Academy time trial.
There's a slight difference with the PS3 control pad but definitely the experience is so much more of everything when using any of the compatible steering wheels ( in feel, accuracy of turns, etc. )
Really when GT5 comes out, it's a must to get a steering wheel, I tell you the feel is absolutely sublime.
Let's hope the next video/trailer/in-game clips would be much better than this one.. it just doesn't deliver the " oommph factor " the 2nd Gears gave us especially the humongous bad-ass enemies which were in that game.
Also would like to see some connection with Gears 2 ending about Fenix and his now turned-to-the-bad-side father.
Love the franchise, nice vid, but could have been better..
Pros - No more saving up cash to buy other forms of control pad hardware.
Cons - delayed reaction, may sometimes need to re-calibrate unit to bring it on focus.
In-between - { just an example } > as for use in driving ( and other sports that may need hardware that has some form of force feedback ).. it's somewhat of a 50/50 here because yeah you do save up a lot of money not buying the steering wheel, but you also don't get that added experience ( *especially the feel )...
Credit goes to Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War 3 just to name a few.. which are astonishingly mind-blowing games.
More are still to come.
Please add more tracks.. the previous cars ( right from since they started the car pack ) that were available for download were mostly a let down.
I'd much prefer if there were more tracks like the Gran Prix Nurburgring circuit that was done some months ago now.
Utter rubbish.. Uncharted 2 has redefined gaming - and in an astonishingly big way, which is why reviews/journos and bloggers alike has cropped up to malign it.
The gaming public knows better.
Do make sure to invest now in a really good steering wheel.
It will absolutely make that sense of experience of owning and playing GranTurismo that much more pleasurable as entertaining.
Nothing beats GranTurismo.
Can anyone confirm if the concept Citroen GT for GT5 will now have a petrol engine when it used to have a hybrid/electric on GT5: Prologue?
It seems with these footage the exotic cars can now actually catch-up and compete with the Citroen when I remember it was astonishingly quick and untouchable in the Prologue game.
First video - Lamborghini caught up with it Citroen.
Second video - ( McLaren F1 footage ) it was in the mid-pack.
People should stop with the "false" remarks about integrating 3D tech in GT5 would yet delay the game.
If Sony and Yamauchi-san would ever implement this, it will definitely be an update.
I'm sure Sony is more inclined to put this technology as soon as possible as this would boost sales of their up-coming 3D-HD Plasma/LCD/LED screens.
What I did notice about the video with the McLaren F1 is even with the somewhat bad audio feed, the sound from the cars' engines ( especially the Mercedes SLR, second only by the Ferrari 458 ) is absolutely astounding!

It's either an April Fool's prank or this guy's completely disturbed or both.
Even if you knew how the story ends or who the killer was, it doesn't really matter, it's the middle part - the different situations on how you get to the ending, you can be good in playing or manipulating "all" or "some" characters in their scenes which I thought was brilliant because it changes your perception and thinking ability.

The person who posted those videos had the absolute worst music preference.
Those types of music don't belong and does not give any drama or justice to the video-clip involved., had to flick the mute button to watch them.
As for the footage they look good, some of them too repetitive.
In all honesty the F1 Championship Edition for the PS3 had the best/or one of the tops for the most awesome steering wheel feel of any game I have ever played.
Better even than GranTurismo 5: Prologue or just released but now defunct GT5: Nissan 370Z demo.
I do hope that Codemasters can re-create that astonishing feel along with their new weather system for F1 2010..

It's a safe bet to stop this ridiculous agenda - to keep your existing plasma/LCD/LED 2D sets and also invest now but wait till 3D-tech on these screens gets to a point were all the manufacturers ...
